Thank you very much. I also struggle with trichotillomania!! I have since I was in 2nd grade. I’ve been trying really hard to stop, and for a second I was doing well but I always end up ripping them out!! I have wanted to do fake eyelashes for awhile - but every time I go to people say I need real lashes to do it. I’m glad to see there is a way I can enjoy my eyes and maybe help myself not pick!

I always felt like I was the only one who plucks eyelashes and now I know that it is a sort of common thing.

Hola, soy cubana y padezco del síndrome de Rapunzel desde los 9 años, pero sólo con las pestañas y las cejas. Es decir por este motivo no tengo cejas ni pestañas, ya tengo 35 años y he vivido muchos años sin ellas sin embargo me encanta maquillarme y ponerme pestañas postizas, pero en cuba es muy dificil encontarlas. He intentado mucho tratar de arrancarme las cejas ni las pestañas perp es algo mucho más fuerte q yo y no puedo dejar de hacerlo. La he pasado muy mal toda mi vida, porque en la primaria me decian sin pestañas y todo el mundo me conocía así y no por mi nombre. What about if you have also pulled the bottom ones.

You can try lash serums they actually do work but you have to apply every day or evening to you lash line

Have you ever tried the magnetic lashes? I was so excited when I heard about it, until I tried it. Either I did something terribly wrong or it's not made for someone with Trich. lol

Do you find the glue is stressful on the remaining eyelashes you have? I'm always afraid to use lash glue because I don't want to loose the few lashes I have left

If I wear regular eyeliner it just disappears...i have hooded and watery eyes. Is there a liner that will stick?

Well done with the video. You rolled with the punches perfectly! I recently started to lose hair after 3 rounds of chemo. I haven't lost eyelashes or eyebrows, but I'm playing with makeup ideas just in case. I would love to see how you do non-existent brows.

Tysm for this video I never thought anyone would be brave enough to make a video online ❤️. I’m twelve so I probably can’t get makeup but this video is still so inspiring😆! Tip: for anyone else who can’t get any makeup or just got trich, you can try saying you got too close to a fire and it burned your eyelashes or eyebrows, I’ve heard true stories about it but I understand if you would feel dishonest doing that. Though it could be a good excuse to last you a couple weeks :’) ps if you start pulling in the day try going around family or friends, sitting on your hands or going for a walk or bike ride :D maybe even grab a snack to distract yourself and watch some tv or read 😊 or just brush over your eyelash with your finger instead of pulling until the urge goes away. You can also find a workout to do in your room if it’s late and your can’t do much :’)

Yesss I needed this a girl be insecure real heavy I have it bad to the point to where all of my eye lashes are gone and half of my eyebrows. I got made fun of for it but it’s good to know I’m not the only one😁

I just caught this video and it is nice to see I'm not the only one suffering with trich. I was starting to really beat myself up about it. I tried applying like a person with lashes would but then I had a visible line of skin underneath. This video was very helpful 👏 ty

I don’t have this disorder but got false lashes for the first time and when they started coming out, found the urge to pick at them and get rid of the glue unbearable, even though I was fully aware I was ruining my natural lashes pulling them out. Attributing this to stress as well. This was very useful although would love to see one without false lashes

You know you all girls look better in Natural, than with all false things.
